1968: The Law Firm Foundation
Establishment: Michele Sandulli founded the law firm as sole practitioner in 1968 in Naples , where he served as bankruptcy and commercial Professor at the Business School of the University of Naples, Federico II.
The 70’s: its DNA
The academic background of Professor Michele Sandulli gives the Law Firm a precise approach, based on a rigorous working method, on studies, on the acquisition of highly specialised knowledge and on a particular propensity for innovation which is shown not only in cutting-edge processes but also in an extraordinary ability to look ahead and anticipate the needs of customers in the light of changes in each single sector. The 80’s: its growing up
The Eighties: Professor Michele Sandulli established together with his wife Claudia Pionati the partnership Sandulli & Associati, that quickly becomes one of the major players in the fields of business law as well as insolvency law, as a consequence of the experience gained by deepening and dealing with the business world.
The 90’s: its consolidation
It is the period of the great bankruptcy procedures, of the first mergers between important credit institutions and of the consequent actions of responsibility towards the administrative and control bodies.
All these situations allows the Law Firm to accumulate a great wealth of knowledge, consisting of highly specialised multidisciplinary skills, in order to face even the most delicate challenges, such as extraordinary operations of mergers and divisions of companies, as well as splitting up and divestments of companies, and leverage buy-outs.
The staff is still growing up: the lawyers are joined by experts in economics and finance. The aim is to integrate skills and complement each other and offer a consultancy in order to enhance every job.
Michele Sandulli is now Professor of Commercial Law and Business Crisis Law at the University of Roma Tre. As in the past, the academic career leads the professional one: Sandulli&Associati Law Firm Offices are in Naples, Avellino and by now also in Rome.

The year 2000: its evolution
These are the years of the entry of the second generation of Sandulli: in 2001 Federica joins the Law Firm, then in 2006 Martina and in 2010 Domenico. In 2001 the accountant Ilaria Pascucci and the lawyer Fabio Preziosi join the group: they will then become associated partners of the Sandulli&Associati Law Firm.
The transformations are not over. The 2005 reform of the Bankruptcy Act introduces the concept of corporate restructuring.
The aim of the reform is to save companies, adapting both the needs of safeguarding creditors and maintaining business continuity The reform opens up new scenarios and new professional challenges. In order to work even more effectively, Sandulli&Associati Law Firm opens an office in Milan.

From 2010 to today: ready for the future
Sandulli&Associati Law Firm continues to grow up. The client portfolio is enriched by new prestigious assignments, especially coming from by the banking sector, by the Court and also by important companies.
